Why get mad at the sky for a dull rainy day?
You can always find a rainbow when the clouds go away.
Why grumble at the air if it’s dusty and hot?
You didn’t want it to rain, so be glad that it’s not.
There is never anything so bad
That you can’t find something good.
In every situation that’s hard,
You can always find something good.
You’ve got an imagination created by God;
Use the brains that you’ve been given to find
A joy in each ordinary day,
To see the simple pleasures found in living.
Alone at home with nothing to do?
Dream a dream, play a game, solve some strife.
Really bored? Well, here’s an idea for you:
Plan out the details of your whole life.
Think through things ahead of time, \
And you’ll find plenty to do.
Don’t want to do that?
Watch a movie, read a book, call a friend.
There’s so much you can do.
There is never anything so bad
That you can’t find something good.
In every situation that’s hard,
You can always find something good.
You’ve got an imagination created by God;
Use the brains that you’ve been given to find
A joy in each ordinary day,
To see the simple pleasures found in living.
Take control of your life; don’t let it control you.
That’s how things get out of had.
Something you can’t do anything about?
Deal with it! - And change the things you can.
There is never anything so bad
That you can’t find something good.
In every situation that’s hard,
You can always find something good.
You’ve got an imagination created by God;
Use the brains that you’ve been given to find
A joy in each ordinary day,
To see the simple pleasures found in living.
